Title	: ALKANES & ALKENES

Aim	: To observe the properties of alkanes and alkenes

Apparatus : 
test tubes , hexene , hexane , aqueous bromine , acidified potassium dichromate ,
acidified potassium permanganate , 

Directions : 
Place into three test tubes the bromine , permanganate and dichromate respectively
add a few drops of the alkane . Repeat for the alkene . Record your observations .
